The Joomla Core Team and Working Group members are volunteer developers, designers, administrators and managers who have worked together to take Joomla! to new heights in its relatively short life. Joomla! has some wonderfully talented people taking Open Source concepts to the forefront of industry standards. The Joomla! team has millions of good reasons to be smiling about the Joomla! 1.5. In its current incarnation, it's had millions of downloads, taking it to an unprecedented level of popularity. The new code base is almost an entire re-factor of the old code base. The user experience is still extremely slick but for developers the API is a dream. A proper framework for real PHP architects seeking the best of the best. If you're a former Mambo User or a 1.0 series Joomla! User, 1.5 is the future of CMSs for a number of reasons. It's more powerful, more flexible, more secure, and intuitive. Our developers and interface designers have worked countless hours to make this the most exciting release in the content management system sphere. Go on ... get your FREE copy of Joomla! today and spread the word about this benchmark project. |

Instead of working in relative secrecy, the JSST will have a strong public-facing presence at the Joomla! Security Center. |

If you are reading this, it's probably because you think MTV sucks. Or maybe you work for MTV. Either way, MTV does suck. It started off with music videos back in the 80s, and eventhough it forever changed the face of the music industry - and not necessarily in a good way, it was still primarily about the music.
With the advent of "The Real World" and the ensuing avalanche of crap "reality" shows, this network and others like it have become a soulless marketing and sales machine that has not only abandoned any semblance of quality musical content, but also enslaved legions of mindless followers who salivate in anticipation of the next pointless series.
Now that we have your attention, we encourage you to stick around, become a registered user, and start contributing your opinions. This is not a right wing, bible wielding extremist group. This is a community of regular people who are focused on making better choices and encouraging others to do the same. With enough commotion and support here, maybe we'll catch the machine's attention as well.
And by the way, this is going to get ugly. Very, very ugly. Welcome to the fight. |
